Let's find out who we are and where we belong. What we like and what we hate- mold ourselves for and against this new society. We are new here, able to set our own laws upon the skin of this healing land. What to do, what to do?
Our predecessors have set up their own system and we honor it. The Lights, the Darks, the Rebels. Conformity by any other name. But is it really? Peer closer and you can see that we don’t conform all too well- we see mild-mannered darks and half-crazed lights. And those who choose to Rebel? Well, they’re themselves, conforming against conformity.
But what about you? You have a choice wanderer. Which side will you choose in this passive war, to whom will you give your loyalty?

Finally got internet! I'm slowly working on a new skin and everything for the site. My Platoon Sergeants don't let us use our computers or anything until after 4:30 on weekdays, not sure about weekends.
I'll soon be looking for new staff members as well as holding another royalty audition. Start getting active everyone! ^^
Forecast
The days grow hotter, but be thankful. Rainshowers are frequent, spilling cold water onto the horse's hot backs.

[Perfection is impossible] « Thread Started on Jan 26, 2009, 4:52pm »
.His name My Mirage
You can call him Mirage.
He is all stallion.
He has lived seven years too long.
His color is a stunning pieblad.
He is 17 impressive hands tall.
His breed is none other than Gypsy Vanner.
Mirage lives in the delusion that he must kill all of the "imperfect" horses of the world. If he can find no truly visible flaws when he first looks at you then great. You'll be alive for a little bit longer. Are you dark? Great. More life for you. You have managed to worthy up to his standards. You have to be tough, unforgiving, determined, and at least attempt to act intelligent. Basically you have to be like him. There is a voice that always lurks in the back of his mind guiding him, cheering him on, and punishing him if something has gone wrong. All stallions that "worthy" are to be left alone. Not killed or anything, just left alone. Mirage knows how to get what he wants and he will go to any extent to make sure that things always go his way. He was raised this way and there is no breaking free from it all. Did I mention his power hungry streak? He must be in charge; it's just the way he is. He doesn't always succeed but he will try his hardest to get there.
Dark and you know it.
A long time ago in a place rather far away there was a massive herd teaming with life. There were at least 100 plus equines dashing around in the herd. You know what? The lead stallion was sick of it all. He ordered that every single member of the herd was to be filtered past him one-by-one. This is where things began to get nasty. Every horse that was "imperfect" was killed on the spot. Those that were worthy were allowed to move on and stay in the herd. Within a week the herd population was cut right in half. After that time things were closely regulated. Every time a foal was born it was allowed to live for eight months before it was judged worthy or "imperfect" be the leader. My Mirage was born during this tough time. When he was finally brought to be judged the leader was in shock at what he saw. It was like he was looking at a miniature him at that age. The lead named Mirage after himself, took him away from his parents, and raised him as his own.
Mirage quickly learned the rules of the land. What perfection was and what to do about those that didn't fit the standard. He killed his first "imperfect" equine when he was three years old. My Mirage soon was left in charge of the herd. He had gotten so into the laws that he soon saw every other horse in the herd as trash. None of them were worthy. He quickly left leaving the entire group to fend for themselves.
To this day he still dashes around carrying out his mission to make the world a perfect place.
